Becoming a Fellow of the American Association for Men in Nursing (FAAMN) is a prestigious opportunity to be recognized for your exceptional commitment and sustained contributions to the field of men’s health and men in nursing. We invite you to join a distinguished cadre of leaders, experts, and mentors who are actively shaping the future of our profession through excellence in practice, scholarship, education, and advocacy.
The Fellow of the American Association for Men in Nursing program offers two distinct pathways for recognition, reflecting our commitment to interprofessional collaboration in the advancement of men’s health and the nursing profession. The Fellow, FAAMN, designation is bestowed upon nursing professionals who have demonstrated exceptional, sustained contributions through clinical practice, education, scholarship, and advocacy. Parallel to this, the Honorary Fellow, FAAMN(H), status recognizes distinguished interprofessional partners and leaders from diverse disciplines who have significantly impacted the mission of the AAMN and the American Men’s Health in Nursing Alliance (AMHNA).
Together, these two levels of fellowship foster a robust cadre of experts dedicated to diversifying the workforce, mentoring the next generation of leaders, and improving health outcomes for men globally.
Your dedication to improving health outcomes for men and diversifying the nursing workforce deserves to be celebrated, and your expertise is vital to the ongoing mission and growth of the AAMN and the American Men’s Health in Nursing Alliance (AMHNA).
To begin your application, please select your primary focus area either “Men’s Health” or “Men in Nursing” and prepare your supporting documentation
Your submission must include:

A 400-word statement detailing your substantive impact in one of the focus areas based on two of the following criteria: clinical practice, education, scholarship, or advocacy.

A 200-word statement on how you will contribute to the mission and values of the AAMN and AMHNA.

A 100-word biosketch.

Your current CV and a professional photograph.

Two letters of support (maximum 500 words each).
All nomination materials must be submitted by the deadline of June 12, 2026.
A non-refundable application fee of $200 is required to process the nomination for the FAAMN. To maintain the status as an AAMN Fellow, a yearly renewal fee of $150 is required. Payment information will be requested at the end of the electronic application.
