The AAMN Foundation is pleased to offer the following educational scholarships which are made possible through the generosity of our AAMN members and the benevolent giving of select groups of donors.

A $5,000 Luther Christman Fellows Scholarship
Qualifications: Candidates must have been members of AAMN for at least two years and have held leadership positions at the chapter or national level and are pursuing an advanced practice degree.
A $2,500 Gender-Inclusion Scholarship generously funded by an endowment from the Cincinnati chapter of AAMN.
Qualifications: A current AAMN member who is pursuing a nursing degree and is either currently working, or plans to pursue employment, in a historically underrepresented gender service area.
A $1,000 Durham Stewardship Award.
Qualifications: A current AAMN member who meets the definition of being a good steward. The award, named after Dr. Jerry Durham in recognition of his service to the nursing community at large.
NurseThink.com is sponsoring two $1,000 scholarships for AAMN members:
A $1,000 scholarship for an AAMN member going back to school who is, or plans to be, a faculty member in a school of nursing.
A $1,000 scholarship for an AAMN member going to become an LPN/LVN or RN (pre-licensure).
Application Process: Please state the specific scholarship you are applying for from the list provided above. If you are applying for more than one scholarship, you must submit a separate application for each scholarship. You must submit an email or written correspondence with your request and your qualifications.
Applications will be scored based on the criteria listed below. Failure to include information for any of the criteria will result in your request being disqualified. The deadline to submit your application is August 16.

Reference Letter (10 Points) – 300 words
Submission Information: Applications should be sent via email with all relevant attachments to firstname.lastname@example.org and must be received by 11:59 pm Eastern Time on August 16, 2021.
