Types of Membership:

Full Membership - Registered Nurses

Privileges include: A voice with vote at Assembly meetings, Appointment or election to Assembly office, Receive the quarterly newsletter and reports, Chapter membership privileges

Dues = $80.00 per year

(New graduates may join during the first year after graduation for $35.00.)

Corporate Membership

Is available to any corporation who provides a service to the healthcare industry/profession. Corporate members may list three contacts who will receive the AAMN newsletter InterAction. The people representing the corporate membership are not required to be RN’s. Corporate Members are entitled to member rates on AAMN functions and advertizing.

 

Associate Membership

Members of the public, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses and entry-level nursing students.

Privileges include: May serve on chapter committees, hold chapter office, Vote at chapter meetings if permitted by Chapter Bylaws, May serve on national committees.

Dues = 25.00 to $40.00 per year

Honorary Membership

As voted by the board and all recipients of the Luther Christman Award

Privileges: have all membership privileges except making motions, voting, and holding office

Dues – $0.00

 

International Membership

International members are registered nurses (or equivalent) who are non-United States residents. Full privileges are included with membership except the ability to serve on the Board of Directors in an elected position. Web-based access to the newsletter, InterAction, is provided.

Dues range from $10-$30 (US Dollars) annually based on the standard national income comparisons as determined by the World Bank.
