If you are thinking about starting an AAMN chapter in your area or at your school of nursing, the resources on this page are intended to guide you through the process.

 

There are three files below for you to download as tools for you to start a chapter:

1. The AAMN Chapter Starter Kit (PDF doc) provides you with the information start to finish and related materials.

2. The AAMN Chapter Formation Checklist (Word doc) will guide you through the specific steps of the process and needs to be submitted to the Chairperson, Chapters & Membership Committee when all the steps have been completed.

3. The AAMN Sample Chapter Bylaws (Word doc) are provided as a template for community based chapters. The sample bylaws may or may be suitable for school/university based chapters depending on the specific academic requirements and/or student government rules at the school/university.
